Antique Vintage Small Cast Iron Mortise Non-Locking Pantry Passage lock R-72

Description

Listing for one small antique / vintage mortise assembly for knob only use (non-locking).  Used for passage or pantry door.   Face plate is clean and straight.  Steel face plate probably at one time had a brass plating, all of which is now completely worn off.   Outside of the worn plating in perfect working condition.  The face plate is perfectly straight, free of dinks, bends, and rust.  It has been clear coated to help protect from rusting.
Sold separately with three available at posting.  All in the same, good, restored condition.
General Information on my mortise locks:
A very solid mortise in excellent original condition.  I have posted multiple styles and sizes of mortise locks.   All interior parts have been cleaned and polished.  All interior parts and springs are in good operating condition and replaced with comparable vintage parts if necessary.  All my mortise locks are reconditioned and fully functioning. Keys are not included unless specifically noted in the listing as well as the pictures.  On the more or less simple interior mortise locks I have found many different skeleton keys work with many different locks.  These were designed with privacy not security in mind and you may find this especially true on the branded locks.  A Yale key would work on many different style Yale locks.  With that being noted for general information I repeat that keys are not included in the sale unless specifically noted.
